"Newton's Third Law states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction". Newton's Craddle aptly demonstrates this law as the balls react to be hit by one another. 


Sir Isaac Newton 1642-1727 was an English physicist and mathemetician who is widely recongnised as one of the most influential scienists of all time as a key figure in the scientific revolution.


Newton's Lawsof Motion were published in his Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy in 1687.
