Practise Foundating Handwriting is a seven book series that begins at Kindergarten and progresses to Year 4. It is designed to introduce NSW Foundation Handwriting to children and guides them to develop skills and confidence as they move towards an individual style by the end of primary school. In this series computer technology has also been introduced for children to develop keyboard skills.
 
Children are encouraged to practise movements, letter shapes and families, as well as numerals, combinations, words, sentences and stories. Practice lines and letter heights are gradually reduced in the series as children develop their handwriting skills and move through the grades.
A teaching program is included with provision for pupil self evaluation in each book.
