A great Farmyard 10 piece wooden puzzle depicting life on the farm. This puzzle has some pieces that come with knobs to easily pick up and put down each of the pieces and other pieces are normal jigsaw pieces without knobs to vary to complexity for small children.
The scene of this puzzle shows a barn and as the children lift each of the pieces they are able to see inside the barn and surrounding area. They can lift the barn doors to see the tractor inside, they can lift the small house to reveal the geese inside, they can lift the kennel to reveal the sleeping dog or they can lift up the apple tree to reveal the baby chicks in the next. This puzzle features a large variety of animals found on the farm such as a pig, cow, geese, chickens, rooster, dog, donkey, rabbit, cat, doves, mice, owl and sheep. This can be great for explaining to the children how each of the animals relate to each other and why they can be found on a farm, such as getting wool from a sheep.
