This drawing compass comes with 3 suction cups for secure positioning on the (white) board. It also has a turning handle. Simply secure chalk for a blackboard or a marker for a whiteboard and draw circles. The largest radius you can draw is approximately 70 cm. A round pushing device allows absolute safe holding of any writing equipment from 6 to 18 mm diameter (for round as well as square edged chalk or pens).
The drawing compass is designed to be used for in front of classroom demonstrations. A scale shows the angle of the feet. A drawing compass is an instrument to draw perfectly round circles. It consists of two movable arms which are hinged together at the end of the arms. When the arms are opened slightly, the circle will be small. Another use for a drawing compass is to measure distance, when the length of the two arms and the angle of the arms is known.
