This book tells the stories of artists that changed the way we look at nature, from Durer's tuft of grass, painted in 1503 to the great landscape painters of the 19th century: Turner, Millet, and Corot. 18 lessons introduce children to the discoveries of the period and to new methods for making art. Children work with printmaking, watercolor, charcoal, and oil pastel.
