Aussie Readers Decodable Readers Sets 1–6 are a carefully sequenced collection of early reading books designed to support children as they learn phonics. Covering the entire Kindergarten course, these sets include the first 39 decodable texts, compiled into six convenient physical readers for easy use at home or in the classroom.
 
Each book aligns with a systematic phonics progression, allowing children to practise the sounds and spelling patterns they have already been taught. This builds confidence, reading fluency and accurate decoding skills without guessing.

Each set begins with a “Where’s Wally” style book, called Blend Hunt. The Blend Hunt books are designed to help children practise blending new sounds within each set. Once each word is successfully blended, children search for the item that matches the words they have read on each page.
