Originally by Henry Lawson, 'The Loaded Dog & Other Stories' have been adapted by Peter Howard and Graeme Wilson for younger readers to enjoy.
 
Each story has been broken into sections, each accompanied by a set of multiple-choice comprehension questions. These questions test whether a chapter has been read and understood.
A glossary for each section has been provided to explain the old-fashioned words and terms used by Lawson.
The answer section is placed in the middle of the book so it can be removed by a parent or teacher.
