Optical glass lens to demonstrate refraction of light. This biconvex lens has a diameter of 5.0 cm with a focal length of 10 cm. Lenses are used for a variety of things, but probably the most known one is in glasses and contacts to help correct vision. Convex lenses are bent outwards in other words, the centre of the lens is thicker than the edges. When light reaches the lens in a straight line, the lens will bend the light rays to a specific focal point. This focal point is lens-dependent and is different for the lenses included in the set. Convex lenses are also called positive lenses, they converge the light rays towards one point. The lens is made of optically worked glass, with ground edges, highly polished.
Each product is carefully designed by a team of laboratory professionals and experienced engineers with quality and durability in mind. They are manufactured with only the highest grade, raw materials and according to international quality standards to ensure that they can withstand use in even the toughest laboratory environments.
