Utilizing the best resources available, each course in our secular, four-part History Odyssey series offers a comprehensive, yearlong study plan for middle school to high school students.
Through reading, discussion, critical thinking, independent study, and engaging, hands-on activities, your child will embark on an exciting journey through world history—from Ancient Civilizations to Modern Times.
Important: Kingfisher History Encyclopedia (KFH) has become difficult to obtain. We do have copies on order from the Publishers but they do not have timeframe when they will be avaible. KFH is the main resource spine for most History Odyssey courses*. The course cannot be properly utilized without this resource. Make sure you have secured a copy of KFH before purchasing a History Odyssey course.

History Odyssey Ancients
Grades 5 to 8
In History Odyssey Ancients, students will explore the key events, achievements, and cultures that shaped the world between approximately 6,000 BCE to 500 CE—from the rise of earliest civilizations to the fall of Rome.
The following books must be obtained apart from this study guide. You may use any version pf these books. There is an alternative booklist available for this study guide. Important: Kingfisher History Encyclopedia (KFH) has become difficult to obtain. While we are hopeful a new edition is forthcoming, we have not been able to confirm when it will be available. KFH is the main reference spine for this History Odyssey course. This course cannot be properly utilized without this resource. Make sure you have secured a copy of KFH before purchasing this History Odyssey course.
